Latest News - New journal update added.

I am Tim Smith and I have just graduated as a Master of Engineering from the University of Durham. I have been interested in cycling for a while but particularly over the last 4 years or so. The hills and cold of Durham have been my main learning ground which has set me in some good stead. Last year I completed a 500 mile cycle tour the length of Ireland and it was great but I felt I wanted more meat to get my teeth into!

This site is dedicated to sharing my experiences of a cycle tour that I will be completing in 2006. I will be cycling from the UK to Hong Kong in aid of Crossroads International with whom I will then be working for a short time. The site contains information about why and how I am carrying out this tour, useful information which I discovered whilst cycling and planning the trip, and information about the charity Crossroads International. There is also a journal which I will endeavour to keep up to date throughout my tour, internet access dependent.

If you would like to make a donation please visit the donations page where Aid International have kindly provided a secure on-line donation page and there are details of other methods. Thank you!

If you also have a mad streak like me for cycling and would be interested in joining me for some of this trip then I'd love to hear from you, please visit my Contact Page. Thank you!
